I Need A Girl
Was born December 14th,1966 in Leicester City, England. He began singing at the age of five and developed his passion for music listening to artists as diverse as Marvin Gaye, Michael Jackson, and Queen. Stuart was born into a musical family. His father and grandfather were both gospel singers; his brothers Billy and Mark also performed pantomimes with friends around the neighborhood, developing a hunger and passion for music.
He was about 12 years old when he and his family were vacationing in the southern part of England. There happened to be a talent show that was being held the next day, so boldly as the tenacious young Stuart, then decided to enter the competition. When he entered the hall the following afternoon, Stuart was suddenly overwhelmed as he stepped onto the stage …
Stage fright in all her rage took hold of him. He was crushed! It felt like the world had fallen from under his feet; no more singing for me, he thought!! Let’s just say that was the beginning …
The choice to move to Japan was an easy one for him.
In the year 2006, Stuart was extremely busy recording a single, an album, and several commercial songs for TV and radio. The album “Believe in our World” had a single called I Love You, produced and written by Stuart and Steve Evans the title song of the album eventually became a radio and television success in Japan.
He also wrote and recorded a couple of radio jingles for American Airlines and Softbank with Kei Matsumoto. What does the future hold for Stuart Mansfield? Well for now he plans to stay and work in Japan recording and writing more music, doing as much as possible to grow and share and be in the moment.
Stuart Mansfield spends a great deal of time focusing on his art – music but the man has to sometimes get away. . He is a voracious reader. Stuart’s reading habits are as eclectic as the music he writes, sings and produces. He often clears his mind by running or cycling through the Osaka green spaces near his home; often in and around the nearby Yodogawa River and Osaka Castle. In his limited free time, he uses his autodidactic knowledge of coding using to build websites like the one you’re viewing now.
